The Rowleyanus is a plant from the Senecio genus identifiable by its round pea shaped fleshy leaves, hence its common name ''String Of Pearls''. It's native to the drier parts of southwest Africa and in its natural habitat trails on the ground in dense clusters.
Although in Africa you'll find me in partially shaded areas in the UK I'll be happiest in full sun to partial shade, so in or next to a window please.
Please don't put me anywhere that doesn't get much sun, but equally as important don't overwater me as this could kill me.
Let my soil dry out before waterings, if the top couple of inches is wet leave me alone. I'll also need to be watered more in the growing season as well as fertilised but don't forget to touch my soil before you water me.
Unfortunately I'm toxic so keep me away from animals.
I come in a 14cm diameter hanging pot but you can remove my hanger and let me trail if you'd prefer. My vines at the moment are roughly 30cm long.
